Perdomo Legacy Gran Collection - Nicaraguan Shade Grown
The Perdomo Legacy Gran Collection Nicaraguan Shade-Grown is an 11-cigar sampler showcasing the Legacy line’s signature shade-grown blend in a range of sizes. Created by fourth-generation cigar maker Nicholas Perdomo III as a tribute to his father, the collection reflects the Perdomo family’s focus on tobacco cultivation, careful aging, and traditional cigar craftsmanship.
The wrapper comes from a proprietary hybrid that combines Cuban and Cameroon seed genetics, developed by Perdomo’s agronomy team. The leaves are grown under shade, then fermented and aged before being bourbon-barrel aged in American white oak barrels. Perdomo describes the wrapper tobacco as bale-aged for at least 10 years and bourbon-barrel aged for a minimum of 10 months.
Cuban-seed Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos from the Perdomo family’s farms in Estelí, Condega, and Jalapa complete the blend. Perdomo characterizes the cigar as medium to full-bodied, with a rich, robust profile, balanced spice, and subtle hints of oak and sweetness on the finish.
This sampler includes 10 cigars made with the Legacy Nicaraguan Shade-Grown blend across five formats, plus one Father & Son Gran Figurado. The assortment lets you explore how the cigar’s size and shape affect the experience while enjoying the same core Legacy blend.
